It begins about 1 m from the left edge, the back by the head is about 2 m above the floor, and the tip of the fin comes down to about 90 cm. The sandy-beige background has vertical brush marks. Beige and cream clouds with gold outlines are densest at the sides, and one cloud hangs at the top, above the whale’s head. Along the bottom run dark navy waves with three white crests, of which the two outer ones curl into spirals; together with the foam they reach about 45 cm above the floor at most.
