On the left run two pale beige horses, on the right four more, paler and paler, up to a white one and a last horse barely outlined in the snowy dust. Along the left edge stand the white trunks of birches, and deeper in the trees blur into vertical streaks of blue and warm cream. The bottom is filled with churned-up snow with blue shadows. The colours are laid down in short, visible brushstrokes, without sharp outlines. On a wall 260 cm high with a full crop (about 465 cm wide), the leading horse measures about 200 cm from the ears to the hooves, and its head with the ears is about 65 cm. FROSTLIGHT HERD is a herd of white horses with a large head shown in profile, and FIRST SNOW has warmer, sunnier light and two foals beside a white-and-brown horse.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eWhich interior does it suit?\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eA dining room with a long table is the first place for this design: the tabletop and chair backs end at the height of the snow and the legs, so the whole row of heads stays above them. In a living room put a low sofa in cream wool in front of the wall; a back up to about 80 cm will hide only the snow and the lower part of the legs. Choose low table lamps and place them to the side, under the birches or by the right edge. A pendant lamp right next to the wall, at a height of 170–240 cm, would cover the head of the leading horse. A third option is the lounge of a small mountain hotel: from a few metres away the brushstrokes merge into a soft light.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eHow do you choose the size and material?\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis winter forest wall mural with horses is one image printed to the size of your wall.
