celadon-kintsugi-tapeta-jasny-marmur-zloto
CELADON KINTSUGI - pale marble wall mural with gold for bathrooms

A celadon wall cracked with gold – that, in short, is how this marble bathroom wall mural looks. There is not a single dark patch in it, so the room stays light and even in tone, and only the network of gold lines gives it rhythm. It is a backdrop for a bathroom, bedroom or dressing room – anywhere the wall is meant to calm things down.

What can you see in the design?

CELADON KINTSUGI is a very light composition with the look of marble, in shades of celadon and pale turquoise. A distinct network of gold veins divides it into large polygonal fields and recalls kintsugi, or cracked ceramics mended with gold. The lines meet in a golden knot almost in the middle of the wall, a little to the right of centre, and spread from there towards every edge. On a wall 260 cm high, the fields between the veins are about 100–150 cm wide, so one or two fit above a bath or a bed. A slightly deeper turquoise appears in only three places: to the right of centre, at the top centre and in the bottom left corner. The surface looks smooth, like glaze.

You can tell it from the similar OPALINE GILT by colour and layout. That one is white and blue, with a dark patch at the left edge and a wide gold vein along the bottom; this one is celadon, even, and built around a single knot.

What kind of interior does it suit?

It suits a bathroom for aesthetic reasons: celadon and white go with the pale stone of the floor and the white of the bath, and the gold lines repeat the colour of brass fittings. In our room setting it is a bathroom in the spirit of a Japanese spa house, with a freestanding bath, a wooden stool and a paper lantern; in the lantern's warm light the gold lines stand out more, in daylight the cool celadon does. In a Japandi-style bedroom the design goes well with a low bed, pale wood and linen in natural colours. Apart from the small knot there is no strong accent here, so the wall behind the bed stays calm. The third option is a dressing room: next to pale wardrobes a narrow strip of wall is enough, and from a metre away the thin branches of the veins are the most interesting part.

How do you choose the size and material?

The whole celadon network is a single image printed to the size of your wall, not a pattern repeated from a roll. In the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page you enter the width and height, choose the material and set the crop. The full composition has a 16:9 ratio: at a height of 260 cm that is about 460 cm wide. On a narrower wall, decide whether the golden knot should stay in the frame – at full height it falls about 130 cm above the floor, that is, above the bath and low furniture.

The two main materials are Mura Vinyl Canvas – the most versatile, with a natural canvas weave – and the structured Mura Vinyl Intonaco with a trowelled plaster texture. The canvas weave gives the smooth pattern the feel of a picture, while on plaster the celadon fields look like a wall finished by a plasterer. The first alternative is Mura Vinyl Sabbia: it has a pronounced coarse sand grain and is neither smooth nor satin – choose it if you want the wall to be clearly grainy up close, because even, pale fields hide nothing. The second is Mura Natur, an eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic, for example for a bedroom, if this is exactly the kind of material you want.

How can you buy with confidence?

Celadon looks a little different on every screen, so start with a sample. It is a print of about 90 × 50 cm, on one or two materials, ordered from the product page and shipped in 1–3 working days. Hold it against the tiles, worktop or curtains and look at it in the morning and in the evening: you will be able to judge the colours and the texture of the material. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation yourself, on a photo of your own room. Our team prepares a studio visualisation on request, in 1–2 working days. On request the studio will adapt the composition, colours and crop of the design, for example by moving the knot so that it does not end up behind a mirror. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days, and shipping in Poland and Europe is free (to other countries at the rate shown in the basket). We also arrange installation anywhere in Europe on request, priced individually.

You will find the other designs from this family in the Turquoise and Gold collection.
