The torso is built of triangles and rhombuses in shades of steel blue, graphite, rust and white, with edges as sharp as a cut gemstone; the hindquarters run off the right edge of the image. The background is cream, with thin lines and pale, grey-green patches at the bottom. In a living room with pale travertine, a long, low sofa in grey-blue velvet and a rust-coloured table work well, because both colours are already on the wall. In an office or meeting room, the cool palette and cream background do not compete with the screen or the plans on the table. Place furniture and lamps in the middle and on the right.
