On the right of the image, in the middle of its height, large creamy-white shrubs with soft, blurred outlines drift upwards – they look like a pale reflection of the dark grasses. The centre of the wall stays empty and calm. At the top the background is grey-blue, with vertical drips and worn patches; lower down it shifts into sandy beige, and in the bottom quarter into a darker band of brown ochre with horizontal brush marks.
