On the left of the image stands a dense group of three plumes, and left of centre the tallest plume of the whole image rises on a slender stem. In the centre there is a smaller plume set lower down, right of centre another one sways on an arched stem, and at the right edge a dense cluster of tall plumes gathers. Compact clumps of thin beige leaves grow at the bottom.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe plumes are white with a creamy tint, and their fine fibres are clearly defined – the drawing is more graphic than painterly. The background has a warm taupe colour and a delicate plaster texture, while the leaves at the bottom shade into sandy beige. On a wall 260 cm high, the plume of the tallest stem alone is about 75 cm long, the clumps of leaves reach about 90 cm from the floor, and about 110 cm of calm background remains above the central plume.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eWhich interior does it suit?\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn a living room, place a low sofa in front of the wall: the backrest will cover at most the clumps of leaves, and the plumes will remain fully visible above it.
