The third is on the right, with its head not far from the edge. Paler outlines of further horses dissolve at the top and in the lower right corner, so they are hard to count: you read them rather as a herd in mist. The silhouettes have no eyes or details; they are flat patches of white and ivory with soft edges. The middle horse measures about 1.9 m from tail to nose. A low bed will cover the legs of the horses, and the heads will stay above it. It is also a design for a teenager's room: the horses are present but not literal, and the palette of beige and pink is calm and grown-up, so the wall will not age along with the furniture. Put a desk and a small lamp low and to the side, so that they do not reach any of the heads.
