DECOMURA AI technology is a proprietary solution created by our studio, combining the power of many open artificial intelligence models trained for a specialized enhancement method. These models are trained specifically to analyze and improve works of art, allowing us to scale images to previously unimaginable resolutions. As a result, we can faithfully reproduce even the tiniest details in artworks that were historically limited to smaller formats and lower-quality reproductions.

This process involves an advanced analysis of the original image, its textures, colors, and composition. DECOMURA AI, using artificial intelligence, can not only enlarge an image but also intelligently fill in missing details, so every element – from delicate brushstrokes to subtle color transitions – retains its original quality. The design of the "The Birth of Venus" wall mural by Sandro Botticelli stands out not only for its timeless beauty and elegance but also for the exceptional quality we achieved at the Decomura studio. The reproduction of this celebrated Renaissance masterpiece was created using state-of-the-art digital technologies and the innovative DECOMURA AI system, which allowed us to achieve a stunning resolution of 120,000 x 75,360 pixels, or 9043 megapixels (Mpx). This in turn makes it possible to print the wall mural in photographic quality at an impressive size of over 30 x 18 meters! As a result, details of the image such as the delicate features of Venus's face, the dynamic draperies of the garments or the subtle reflections of light on the waves have been rendered with unprecedented precision.

In the version processed by DECOMURA AI, not only were the details improved, but also the light and shadow were balanced and the color palette was corrected; in the original reproduction it was in places overexposed and uneven. Thanks to our technology, the whole scene gained depth, and the contrasts between light and shadow were balanced, emphasizing the three-dimensional character of the work. The colors, which were previously too intense or faded, took on a natural look, restoring a harmonious palette close to the master's original intentions.

This effect is particularly visible in fabrics, such as Venus's cloak or the garments of the accompanying figures. Thanks to precise tonal balancing, the fabrics regained their original depth and richness. The same applies to skin tones – the processed version shows softer transitions of light, giving the figures a more subtle, more realistic appearance. The use of DECOMURA AI means that Botticelli's work can now be admired in its full, refreshed glory while preserving historical authenticity.
