APRICOT CIRRUS - painterly wall mural with ginkgo for a dining room

Blue ginkgo leaves drift across a muted, grey-aquamarine ground, and above them worn streaks of peach and apricot rise towards the ceiling like warm clouds. The cool palette gains a touch of warmth, so a dining room or hotel room looks cosy even on a cloudy day.

What can you see in the design?

See-through leaves in blue and azure form two groups in the upper two thirds of the image: a wider one, from the left edge to the middle, and a second on the right side of the image. In the middle, between them, stands a paler, peach-beige leaf. At the top, above the middle and above the right group, vertical, worn brush streaks in peach, apricot and pale yellow cross the ground; similar, lighter scuffs can be seen low by the left edge and in the lower part in the middle. The leaves have a fine drawing of veins and olive-gold outlines, and their long stalks fall towards the bottom edge. The whole has a painterly, slightly hazy character with warm accents.

On a wall 260 cm high, the peach streaks come down from the top edge by about 50 cm, the leaves of the right group are each about 1 m wide, and the blue leaf in the middle reaches lowest, ending about 30 cm above the bottom edge.

Which interiors does it suit?

Dining room. Above a round table in stone or wood, the warm streaks echo the colour of an apricot-toned linen table runner and woven chairs. On the muted, grey-aquamarine ground, armchairs in powder pink or terracotta also look good.

Hotel room and bedroom. A low headboard covers only the band of stalks, and apricot bedding and a grey-blue throw pick up both colours of the design. In a tall room the streaks under the ceiling fill the upper part of the wall.

Study and office. The hazy ground is a calm view from behind a desk, and the warm accents go with walnut, the light brown leather of a chair and the grey stone of the floor.

How do you choose the size and material?

We print APRICOT CIRRUS as one image to the size of your wall. The “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page lets you set the size, material and crop. The peach streaks begin at the top edge of the image, so in a lower room check in the crop that they stay visible above the leaves; at a height of 260 cm the full width of the image is about 4.6 m.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile; the weave strengthens the painterly character of the worn peach and apricot streaks.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – a structured material with a trowelled plaster texture; beneath the brush scuffs it resembles an old painted wall, especially in side light.
• Mura Vinyl Sabbia – an alternative: a pronounced coarse sand grain, neither smooth nor satin; the grain is most visible in the pale, peach-beige leaf in the middle.
• Mura Natur – an alternative: an eco-friendly, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic non-woven; the matt finish sustains the hazy character of the design, which suits a hotel bedroom.

How can you buy with confidence?

Peach and azure react to light: in the morning they may seem cooler, in the evening warmer. So start with a sample ordered from the product page – a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, shipped in 1–3 working days. With it you can check the colours and the texture of the material in your own room. You can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and we will prepare a studio visualisation on request in 1–2 working days. The studio can also, at your request, adapt the composition, colours and crop of the design to your interior, for example by warming the background. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days, shipping within Poland and Europe is free, outside Europe the basket rate applies, and on request we arrange installation across Europe, priced individually.

You will find the other ginkgo-leaf designs in blue in the Azure Drift collection, and other ideas for a room with a bed in the bedroom wall murals collection. For a hotel project, a consultation with our studio will help.
