Collection: Whispering Woodlands

Soft light filters between the trunks, and in a thicket of ferns and fly agarics a whole troop of woodland dwellers is waiting. A fox settles down next to a hare, a bear half-closes its eyes, an owl looks straight at you. This is a forest told the way a bedtime story is told — calmly, warmly, and with small details that you discover slowly.

What will you find in this collection?

  • Theme: woodland animals among dense vegetation, mushrooms and flowers.
  • Palette: greens and sage, warm beiges, russet rust and small touches of red.
  • Technique: from flat, matte children’s illustration, through watercolor, to painterly oil-style scenes with light.
  • Scale: large, full compositions — each design is a single picture covering the whole wall.

Which interiors suit a forest scene?

It feels most at home in a child’s room and a playroom — above the bed, behind the desk or on the wall with a reading nook. But this theme doesn’t end at the children’s room. A green forest works well in a preschool and a nursery, in the waiting room of a pediatric practice, in a family café or in the play area of a hotel — anywhere you want the wall to set a calm, friendly mood right away.

How do the designs differ from one another?

This variety is deliberate and gives you a real choice. Light, flat illustrations in muted green are gentle and calm — they sit well alongside wood and white and don’t overwhelm a small room. Scenes painted more densely, with warm light and stronger color, work like a picture from a children’s book: more happens in them, and they take longer to look at. If you want a calm backdrop, choose a design with lower contrast and more empty, bright sky between the trees. If you are looking for a wall that is an attraction in itself, reach for a composition full of characters and detail.

How do you choose a design?

You don’t have to guess how a design will look in your home. On each product page you can create an AI visualization on a photo of your own room — you upload a photo of your wall and instantly see the result in your interior. From there you can also order a sample of the design of your choice: a print of about 90 × 50 cm, on up to two materials for comparison. We ship it within 1-3 business days, so you can check the color and texture in your own light before you decide.

You set the size, material and price in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page — the print is made to measure for your wall, as one large picture rather than a repeating pattern. That way you decide for yourself where the center of the composition falls and which characters end up at a child’s eye level.

Which material should you choose for a child’s room?

For these illustrations, Mura Vinyl Canvas with a natural canvas texture works best — a versatile choice that emphasizes the painterly character of the scenes. If you prefer a more pronounced structure, go for Mura Vinyl Intonaco with a rubbed-plaster texture. Alternatively, Mura Vinyl Sabbia is available, with an expressive texture of coarse sand grain, as well as Mura Natur — an eco-friendly non-woven material, perfectly matte, odorless and hypoallergenic. The print is eco-friendly and certified.

On request, our studio will adapt the composition, colors and framing to your interior, and will also prepare a studio visualization within 1-2 business days. Order fulfillment usually takes 3-7 business days. Shipping within Poland and Europe is free of charge; to other countries it costs 49 €. If you’d rather not hang it yourself, we will arrange professional installation throughout Europe — individually quoted.
