Collection: Horses

The Horses collection brings together 36 images of horses with a painterly texture, with visible brushstrokes and traces of a palette knife: portraits, pairs and whole herds at a gallop. Each design is a single large image for a whole wall. Most were created with adult interiors in mind, that is the living room, bedroom, study, library, hall and dining room. The six most delicate ones, in cream, beige and powder pink, also suit a teenager's room.

How do you choose a design from this collection?

• Calm portraits in beige, grey and sage. QUIET SENTINEL, CELADON HOUR, RAVEN ON SAGE, QUARTZ STILLNESS and PALE VIGIL show a single standing horse on a smooth background. Choose them for a living room, a study or a hall when the wall is meant to calm.
• White horses and pale outlines. LINEN MUSE, HONEY HUSH, CASHMERE MANE and PEARL CURTSY are white heads on a cream background, while SAND MIRAGE and ROSEWATER RUN are semi-transparent silhouettes at a gallop. These six suit a light bedroom and a teenager's room.
• Winter herds. BIRCH RUN, FROSTLIGHT HERD, SNOW DRIFTERS, CHESTNUT RUSH, POWDER STAMPEDE and FIRST SNOW run through the snow straight towards the viewer. They need a wide wall, for example in a dining room or a living room.
• Movement and colour. FACETED LEAP, FLINT RUNNER, PATINA WALKER and NECK AND NECK break a horse in motion into abstract planes, and CARNIVAL GALLOP and TANGERINE TROT do the same in strong colours.
• Contrast and warm browns. The pairs CHALK AND COAL and KINDRED PAIR are built on white and black. WHITE BLAZE, SIENNA STANCE and BRONZE PIROUETTE bring brown and rust to a library, a living room or a restaurant.

With every design, check where on the wall the horse's head falls. Furniture may cover the legs and the body, but the head should stay whole, so choose a low sofa and place lamps to the side.

We print all the designs to the size of your wall. You set the dimensions, the material and the crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. Before you decide, order a sample, a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, dispatched within 1–3 working days, and judge the colours at home. On the product page you can also make an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself; it will show you at once whether the horse's head fits above the furniture.
