Collection: Leaf Lines

In the Leaf Lines collection, line drawing takes the lead: each of the 14 designs shows large ginkgo leaves filled with a dense, fine line of veins, beneath which lie soft watercolour patches or a smooth, warm ground. It is a calm botanical wall for people who like line art and Japanese simplicity – for a bedroom, living room, study, hall, bathroom and dining room, and also for a hotel, restaurant and café.

How do you choose a design from this collection?

• Decide on the colour temperature. The cool family is slate, grey-blue, sand and cream leaves on a pale grey, white or marbled ground, which go with pale wood, stone and white. In the warm family the leaves are drawn in terracotta, rust, pink and brown on a cream, sandy or mint ground and suit walnut, rattan and linen.
• Match the density to the wall. Designs in which the leaves fill the whole surface in layers give the wall a distinct rhythm and fill a large living room or dining room well. Compositions with a few huge leaves and a calm background suit bedrooms and minimalist interiors, where the wall is meant to be a backdrop.
• Check the scale. On a wall 260 cm high the leaves range from about 80 cm wide in the densest designs to over 2 m in compositions with a few large leaves. The fewer the leaves, the more the crop matters on a narrower wall.
• Think about the furniture in front of the wall. Leaves growing from below on long stalks look best behind a low bed, sofa or bench, which hide only the lower parts of the stalks. Designs with evenly spread leaves are easier to crop on a wall of any width.

We print each design to the size of your wall, and you set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. Before you decide, order a sample of your chosen design – a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, shipped in 1–3 working days – and look at the colours at home. You can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days.
