Collection: Sky Whales

A whale that swims among the clouds instead of in the ocean is the only hero of the Sky Whales collection. The collection brings together children’s rooms and interiors for adults: alongside gentle compositions for the room of a baby, a pre-schooler and a teenager there are designs for a bedroom, living room, bathroom, study and library. Each is one large image across a whole wall, and what sets them apart is the colour of the sky, the mood and who they are meant for.

How do you choose a design from this collection?

• Cream clouds with waves. CLOUD VOYAGER, ABOVE THE TIDE, LINEN WHALE and PEARL DRIFTER: beige, cream, a grey-blue whale with gold spirals and a sea at the bottom of the wall. This is the most versatile family, for a bedroom, living room and bathroom, and apart from ABOVE THE TIDE also for a child’s room.
• Japanese woodblock style with a golden sky. KUJIRA RISING, EDO LEVIATHAN and FLOATING WORLD have a distinct outline, billowing cream clouds and dark waves with white foam. Choose them for a dining room, living room, hallway or study; EDO LEVIATHAN also suits an older child’s room.
• Turquoise and blue skies. AQUA DREAMER, CERULEAN GLIDE and BLUE YONDER are designs for a child’s room, a playroom and a reading nook. LAGOON LEAP and QUIET GIANT, with a white whale on turquoise and on a muted blue, also suit a bathroom, living room and bedroom.
• Deep navy and a night sky with stars. CLOUDBREAK and THUNDERHEAD show a whale among dramatic clouds: these are designs for a bedroom, study and library, and CLOUDBREAK also for a teenager’s room. INDIGO NOCTURNE and STARLIT WHALE have stars; choose the first for a library, bedroom or a child’s reading nook, the second for a child’s room.
• Light backgrounds with a distinct texture. OCHRE PASSAGE and MILK AND HONEY are almost abstract, in ivory, sand and ochre, and GREY NIMBUS adds grey, misty clouds to this family. These are suggestions for a living room, bedroom and bathroom; MILK AND HONEY also for a baby’s room.

We print each design to the size of your wall, and you set the dimensions, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. Before you choose, order a sample: a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which we ship in 1–3 working days. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself. The gold lines and stars, where they appear, are a printed colour, so it is worth judging their shade on the sample.
