Collection: Pampas Breeze

Creamy plumes of pampas grass sway in the wind, in the mist and in soft, diffused light. A single plant and a very light palette of creams, beiges and ecru unite eleven painterly wall murals, while in some of the designs a pale, grey-blue sky shows through. Pampas Breeze is for you if you are decorating a light bedroom, living room, dining room or hallway in a calm, natural style and want one airy image across the whole wall.

How do you choose a design from this collection?

• Decide on density. If you want the wall to fill with movement, choose a dense field of grass, as in GRASS TIDE or FIELD STUDY. If you prefer more breathing space, go for a few distinct plumes on a calm background, as in BETWEEN GUSTS or BLUE UPDRAFT.
• Match the background to the light. In a room with cool, north-facing light, warm backgrounds in beige and ivory – PAINTED PAMPAS, SUNBLEACHED, BECALMED – will warm up the wall. In a sunny interior, the grey-blue background of CASHMERE TUFTS or the pale blue sky of BLUE UPDRAFT will bring in a cooler note.
• Look closely at the brushwork. The palette-knife marks and separate brushstrokes in IMPASTO and the loose, broad strokes in FIELD STUDY are best viewed from a few steps away, for example in a living room. The graphic, finely drawn plumes on a smooth background in PLASTER AND SILK and SUNBLEACHED suit minimalist interiors with simple furniture.
• Check where the furniture stands. When a headboard or a sofa stands in front of the wall, choose a design with the plumes in the upper half, for example PAINTED PAMPAS, PAMPERO or IMPASTO. The lower part of these designs dissolves into mist and blades of grass, so the furniture will not hide the plumes.
• Think about the material. Mura Vinyl Canvas will give the plumes the texture of natural canvas, and Mura Vinyl Intonaco the texture of trowelled plaster, which will bring out the plaster backgrounds in PLASTER AND SILK and SUNBLEACHED. As an alternative, you have Mura Vinyl Sabbia with its pronounced coarse sand grain texture and the matt non-woven Mura Natur.

Before you buy, order a sample of your chosen design from the product page: we send a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials within 1–3 working days. With such a light palette, it is worth seeing the colours on your own wall at different times of day. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page.
