CHAMOIS POSY - wall mural with a bouquet of peach ginkgo leaves

A bouquet of peach leaves on one side and a wide, pale expanse on the other – this composition looks like a still life painted on canvas. The design warms the wall, and thanks to the generous amount of empty background the room stays spacious and bright, even with a small window.

What can you see in the design?

Six ginkgo leaves in pale peach and cream stand on long, curved stalks in the left half of the image. The tallest leaf is in the middle of the bouquet, two more spread out to the sides, and three smaller ones sit lower; the stalks run all the way down to the bottom edge. Behind the bouquet run vertical, worn streaks in ochre, beige and grey that look like its shadow. The right half is a pale, almost white background with wide brushstrokes in cream and pale peach and a printed weave resembling canvas.

On a wall 260 cm high the whole image is about 450 cm wide. The bouquet takes up about 195 cm, the leaves are from about 45 to about 85 cm wide and are arranged from roughly 80 to 235 cm above the floor, and the pale right part is about 225 cm wide.

Which interiors does it suit?

In a bathroom a freestanding bath or a vanity unit will stand in front of the pale right part of the wall, and the bouquet on the left side of the image will stay completely uncovered. The peach and cream go with white marble, limestone plaster and teak wood, and towels in peach or pale grey will repeat the colours of the leaves. In a bedroom place the bed slightly to the right of centre: the leaves will then be beside the headboard, not behind it, so a low headboard will not cover them. In a study a desk in front of the empty background and the bouquet right next to it make a calm pair, and the warm colours suit cherry wood, brass and cream upholstery. The design looks good in Provençal, Mediterranean and classic styles.

How do you choose the size and material?

CHAMOIS POSY is one large image printed to the size of your wall; you set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. On a wall about 3 m wide you will fit the whole bouquet and a strip of pale background on the right side of the image. If the wall is wider, the empty expanse grows and the bouquet stays in the left part of the wall.

Of the main materials, Mura Vinyl Canvas has the texture of natural canvas and is the most versatile – its weave will blend with the canvas-like pattern of the background. Mura Vinyl Intonaco is a structured material with the texture of trowelled plaster; in raking light it will add depth to the vertical streaks behind the bouquet. The alternatives are Mura Vinyl Sabbia, with a pronounced coarse sand grain, neither smooth nor satin, and Mura Natur – an eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic, on which the peach looks most delicate.

How can you buy with confidence?

The shade of peach depends on the light in the room, so before you decide on the whole wall, check it on a sample. A sample is a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, ordered from the product page and shipped in 1–3 working days; you can hold it up in the bathroom or the bedroom and judge the colours and the texture of the material in your own light. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and on request the DECOMURA team will make a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. On request, the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop to the interior – for example, it can move the bouquet to the right side. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days, shipping within Poland and Europe is free, and to other countries it is charged at the rate shown in the basket; we arrange installation across Europe on request, after an individual quote.

You will find other pale ginkgo compositions in the Ginkgo Mist collection, and more botanical motifs in the wall murals with nature motifs collection. If you are planning a design for a bathroom, take advantage of a consultation on choosing the design.
