CHANTILLY - wall mural with a cascade of cream ginkgo leaves

A cascade of cream leaves flows down one side of the wall, as if a branch had slipped into the room from behind a corner. The other part stays a calm, warm grey background, so the design combines a rich botanical motif with space for furniture and rest for the eyes. The light, cream palette also brightens a room with a single window.

What can you see in the design?

More than twenty ginkgo leaves in cream and beige emerge from behind the left edge of the image and fill the left half from top to bottom. The leaves overlap, have clearly visible, finely drawn veins and pale edges, and their thin, silvery-grey stalks converge in the bottom left corner. Single leaves at mid-height reach furthest to the right, roughly to 60% of the width. The right part is a painterly background in warm grey and beige, worn like plaster, with light, peachy glimmers.

On a wall 260 cm high the whole image is about 450 cm wide, the cascade takes up about 270 cm, and the calm background on the right side of the image about 180 cm. Individual leaves are about 50–65 cm wide, roughly the width of an armchair seat.

Which interiors does it suit?

In a living room a sofa placed in front of the calm, right part of the wall leaves the cascade completely uncovered, and the warm grey of the background goes with sandy linen, travertine and pale terrazzo. In a bedroom the design looks good behind a bed moved to the right – the leaves on the left side of the image fill the wall beside the headboard, and the cream and peach tones are repeated in the bedding and velvet. In a restaurant or café the dense cascade catches the eye from the entrance, and tables placed in the middle of the room do not cover the leaves. Off-white or pale beige looks good on the neighbouring walls – the calm part of the image then passes gently into the rest of the room. The design suits 1970s modernism, classic interiors and calm schemes in beige.

How do you choose the size and material?

CHANTILLY is one large image printed to the size of your wall. In the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page you enter the width and height and then set the crop. On a wall about 2.7 m wide the cascade alone will fit; on a wider wall the calm background on the right side of the image is added, which you can leave for furniture.

The background of this design resembles plaster, so Mura Vinyl Intonaco, a structured material with the texture of trowelled plaster, goes well with the painterly, worn right part. The other main material, Mura Vinyl Canvas, with the texture of natural canvas, is the most versatile and emphasises the veins of the leaves more gently. The alternative is Mura Vinyl Sabbia, with a pronounced coarse sand grain – it is neither smooth nor satin and looks most interesting on a wall viewed from a few metres away, for example in a restaurant dining room. You can also choose Mura Natur, an eco-friendly non-woven: matt, odourless and hypoallergenic.

How can you buy with confidence?

Before you decide, order a sample from the product page: a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which we ship in 1–3 working days. On the sample you can check at home how the cream of the leaves and the warm grey of the background look in your light and how the chosen material renders the texture. You can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and we will prepare a studio visualisation on request in 1–2 working days. If you want the cascade to come from the right side or to have a warmer shade, the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop of the design to the interior. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days. Shipping within Poland and Europe is free, to other countries the rate shown in the basket applies, and on request we arrange installation across Europe with an individual quote.

We have gathered the other ginkgo designs in light colours in the Ginkgo Mist collection. You will find other images for the large wall of a living room in the living room wall murals collection, and if you are furnishing a venue, book a consultation on choosing the design.
