CHARTREUSE - yellow and green ginkgo wall mural

A bright, sunny wall divides into two sides: on the left lemon-yellow leaves glow, and on the right deep greens answer them. The image brightens the room like morning light and gives it energy, yet it has a calm, cream background that does not tire the eye. Broad brushstrokes give it the look of a large painting with a painterly texture.

What can you see in the design?

The left part of the image and the top edge are filled with pale yellow and lemon-yellow ginkgo leaves, some with a warm, orange edge. The largest of them lies low by the left edge and on a wall 260 cm high it is about 110 cm tall. The right part is occupied by dark green, bottle-green and sea-green leaves: one high up, to the right of centre, two large ones at mid-height, each about 120 cm wide, and a cluster by the bottom edge. One more dark leaf peeps out at the bottom to the left of centre, and between the two sides floats a paler, celadon fan. The background is creamy yellow and mint-blue, and thin stalks cross it diagonally. The whole is covered with visible brushstrokes, which are part of the print and not a raised layer of paint on the wall.

Which interiors does it suit?

In a dining room with a terracotta floor and a long oak table, including one open to the kitchen, the lemon yellow and green bring the atmosphere of a sunny country house, and sage chairs link the two sides of the image. In a mid-century living room, with a walnut sofa, lemon-yellow cushions and a bottle-green armchair, the wall becomes the main accent, and the concrete floor calms it down. In an entrance hall with green terrazzo, the luminous background brightens the entrance, so the narrow interior seems more spacious. The design looks its best in rooms facing east or south, where the yellow of the leaves joins the natural light.

How do you choose the size and material?

CHARTREUSE is a single image printed to the size of your wall. You choose the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page; at a height of 260 cm the whole image is about 460 cm wide. On a narrower wall, decide whether sun or shade matters more: a crop from the left side of the image will be almost entirely yellow, one from the right green, and a crop from the middle will keep both colours.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile material; the canvas weave comes closest to the impression of a painting with a painterly texture.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – the texture of trowelled plaster, a structured material; against the luminous background the plaster gives the wall a rustic, Mediterranean character that suits a kitchen with terracotta.
• As alternatives: Mura Vinyl Sabbia – a pronounced coarse sand grain, neither smooth nor satin, which in side light brings the yellow background to life; Mura Natur – an eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic, on which bottle green looks velvety and free of reflections.

How can you buy with confidence?

Yellow can look lighter or darker on a screen than in reality, so order a sample from the product page. The print is about 90 × 50 cm, is made on one or two materials and we ship it in 1–3 working days; hold it against the wall next to the kitchen cabinet fronts and check whether the lemon shade suits you. On the product page you can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and if you wish, our team will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. On request the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop – it can, for example, move the boundary between the yellow and the green side. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days. We ship free of charge within Poland and Europe, to other countries at the rate in the basket, and on request we arrange installation across Europe after an individual quote.

You will find other painterly ginkgo designs in ochre, green and navy in the Amber Ginkgo collection, and ideas for a bright wall behind the sofa among the wallpapers and wall murals for the living room. If you are furnishing a café and want to match the crop to several walls, book a consultation with our team.
