FANFARE - wall mural with two large ginkgo leaves for a hallway

Two enormous ginkgo leaves spread across the whole wall like a pair of open fans. A motif like this can be seen from the doorway, so the wall becomes the focal point of the entrance hall or living room, and the rest of the interior can stay simple and calm.

What can you see in the design?

The middle of the image is taken up by two pale leaves in pale mint and cream, drawn with dense, parallel lines. Their long stalks meet low, in the middle of the bottom edge. The left leaf spreads upwards and to the left and reaches the top edge, while the right one fills the right half of the image. On a wall 260 cm high the right leaf is about 170 cm high and about 2.3 m wide, and the left, which reaches the top edge, about 180 cm high; together they take up almost the whole width of the image, which is about 4.6 m.

Behind them you can see darker, sea-green leaves, outlined in line in the upper left and right corners and by the lower right edge. In the upper part of the right half a transparent leaf outlined in a rust line shows through, and by the bottom edge, left of centre, a fragment of another pale leaf leans out. Thin rust-orange threads wind around, thickest on the right of the image and low down. The ground is an even jade green with delicate vertical striping.

Which interiors does it suit?

Entrance hall and hallway. On the wall opposite the door the two leaves greet guests from the entrance. Place only a low console beneath them, as in the entrance hall setting in an Art Nouveau townhouse in Riga, and the fans above it will stay uncovered.

Reception of an office or studio. The large scale of the design organises the wall behind the reception desk: the pale leaves can be read from a few metres away, and the jade ground goes with pale wood, sage-coloured felt and terrazzo.

Living room. Behind a long, low sofa in green velvet the leaves show their full size. The rust threads let you choose brass, copper details or warm wood.

How do you choose the size and material?

FANFARE is one large image printed to the size of your wall; you set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. Because the motif is made of two leaves with a shared point at the bottom, both will be visible on a wall 260 cm high and about 4.6 m wide, and the top edge of the left leaf is trimmed by the edge of the image. On a narrower wall choose one of the leaves in the crop, or ask the studio to adjust the composition.

Hold it against the wall in the hall under artificial light and check the shade of the jade green and the texture of the material. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. On request the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop to the interior, if the leaves are to fit above a door or console.
