This wall mural depicts the work "Chiyoda Ōoku Hanami" , depicting a hanami, or cherry blossom viewing, scene in the inner Chiyoda Palace. Part of a series of woodblock prints, the work was created by the Edo period Japanese artist Toyohara Chikanobu . The painting depicts women in elegant kimonos frolicking under the blossoming cherry trees in a traditional Japanese garden.
