FOUR TUSSOCKS - grass tussock wall mural for hallway and living room

Four dense tussocks of grey grass rise from the floor and fan out, leaving a calm band of rubbed plaster above them. The wall gains a botanical motif in muted greys, with no single point that pulls the eye. A hallway or living room feels softer, and furniture in beige tones and wood gains a quiet backdrop.

What does the pattern show?

A row of four rounded, bushy tussocks grows from the bottom edge of the image. Two stand on the left side of the image, one in the centre, and the tallest and widest closes the composition on the right. Each tussock is a sheaf of slender blades topped with feathery plumes. The lower parts of the plants dissolve into a pale, pearly haze, so the wall is at its lightest near the floor.

The tops of the tussocks end in the upper quarter of the image. Above them you can see rubbed plaster with darker taupe patches and streaks with a painterly texture. The palette is grey, taupe and pearl grey, matt and without strong accents. On a wall 260 cm high, the image is about 464 cm wide, the tussocks reach about 200–210 cm from the floor, and the widest of them measures about 150 cm across. The free band at the top is about 50–75 cm. Among the Silver Reeds patterns, this is one of the most compact and bushy.

Which interior does it suit?

In a hallway or entrance hall, the tussocks start low, so a bench, console or shoe cabinet covers only the thin stems, while the plumes stay at eye level. You view a narrow corridor from a metre or two away, and at that distance individual blades become visible. In a stairwell with concrete or terrazzo, the grey of the grasses softens the raw materials.

In the living room, place the pattern behind a low, deep sofa: the backrest hides the lower stems, and the four plumes remain visible above the cushions. It suits Japandi, rustic and Scandinavian interiors with whitewashed oak, linen, rattan and travertine. A third option is a bathroom with sandy stone and matt white, where a freestanding bath reveals the scale of the tall plumes.

How do you choose the size and material?

This ornamental grass mural is a single image printed to the size of your wall. You set the dimensions, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. On a narrower wall, decide which tussocks should stay whole, so that the widest one on the right side of the image is not cut in half.
