GRASS TIDE - misty pampas grass wall mural for the bedroom

Wind drifts through the haze, and pale plumes of grass bend in one direction. A wall with this misty pampas grass wall mural does not close the room in; it quietens it. Creamy beiges and cool grey soften the outlines, while the rightward sweep of the plumes leads the eye along the full width of the interior.

What does the design show?

A dense field of pampas grass in cream, beige and ecru grows across the entire width of the image. Every plume leans to the right, as if a gust had just passed through. On the left of the image the plumes are at their lowest; towards the centre they rise higher and higher, and the tallest reach just below the top edge in the central and right-hand sections. The background is a smoky mist in beiges and cool grey, with dense, dry-brushed strokes. The lower half has no clear outlines: the stems dissolve into pale, vertical streaks, so furniture placed against the wall mostly covers the mist rather than the plumes. On a wall 260 cm high, the image is about 462 cm wide, and individual plumes are about 35–60 cm long. From the far end of the room you see a rippling field of grass; up close, the soft, painterly feathers of single plumes.

Which interiors does it suit?

In the bedroom, the pale mist behind the bed does not compete with bedding or bedside lamps and is easy on the eye in the evening. It works with linen, whitewashed wood and a low bed, above which the whole upper part of the field remains visible – just as in the room setting with a Japanese machiya house. In a Scandinavian or Japandi living room, the design echoes the palette of sand-coloured sofas and jute rugs; on a wall 4 metres wide or more, you can follow the movement of the grass from corner to corner. In the dining room, the cool grey of the background balances stronger colours: in our render, dusty pink chairs and a dark table stand against a calm backdrop, while the tall plumes stay above the tabletop. If your windows face north, the beiges will warm the room; in a room with plenty of sun, the grey of the background will keep a light, cooler tone.

How do I choose the size and material?

GRASS TIDE is one large image printed to the size of your wall. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page – on a narrower wall, shift the crop towards the centre and the right-hand side of the image, where the plumes are tallest. We recommend two materials first. Mura Vinyl Canvas has the texture of natural canvas and is the most versatile; its weave blends with the dry-brushed strokes in the background and emphasises the painterly character of the mist. Mura Vinyl Intonaco has a structured trowelled plaster texture – in side light from a window, the pale areas of the design look like a painting on the wall. As an alternative, choose Mura Vinyl Sabbia with its pronounced coarse sand grain texture: it is neither smooth nor satin, so it is best appreciated from a distance of 2–3 metres, for example in a living room or dining room. Mura Natur is an eco-friendly, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic non-woven; the matt finish keeps the mist soft and calm, which you will appreciate in the bedroom.

How can I buy with confidence?

Before you order the whole wall, order a GRASS TIDE sample from the product page: we send a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials within 1–3 working days. Hold it against the wall and see how the creams and greys look in your light in the morning and evening, and which texture you prefer. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and on request our team will prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. The studio can also adapt the composition, colours and crop of the design to your interior, for example by warming the grey of the background. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days, printing is eco-friendly and certified, shipping within Poland and Europe is free, and on request we arrange installation anywhere in Europe, individually quoted.

You will find more misty grasses in a light palette in the Pampas Breeze collection, and other calm designs for behind the bed among our bedroom wallpapers and wall murals. If you are unsure which crop to choose, book a consultation with our studio.
