HARBOUR COLLAGE - wall mural like an abstract painting, with gold

Above, slanting planes of turquoise, cream and gold; below, a calm, grey-green expanse: this composition has its own horizon and organises the wall like a landscape, although it depicts nothing literally. The dark, navy centre gives the room depth, and the cream fields at the top make sure it does not become heavy.

What can you see in the design?

HARBOUR COLLAGE looks like a collage of large, diagonally cut sheets laid one on another. The horizon line is set by two bands in the colour of gold with a rough surface: the first runs from the left edge of the image to the middle, slightly below half height, the second lies a little higher on the right and darkens towards brown. Between them, in the middle of the wall, begins the darkest, navy-turquoise form, which descends in a sharp wedge towards the bottom.

Cream fields occupy the top left and top right parts of the image, and between them lie turquoise planes in a medium shade. The bottom, especially on the right, is a grey-green field with vertical streaks, smooth as water in a harbour; in the bottom left corner you can see rust-coloured rubbed-through areas. A weave as on canvas and marks as if from a spatula belong to the image – you choose the tactile texture together with the material.

PAPER PRISM is cut evenly from top to bottom and has only thin gold wedges, and CUBIST RIVIERA is lighter and soft, with a large cream rectangle. This one has the most gold, and the composition has a top, a bottom and a dark middle.

What kind of interior does it suit?

In a study the design suits dark wood, cognac leather and brass: the navy and the gold pick up their tone, and the cream fields at the top brighten the room. Position the desk parallel to the wall – with a full crop its top will cover only the bottom part of the image, and the gold horizon line will remain just above it.

In a living room, give it the wall behind a low sofa. Sage, olive or sand upholstery blends with the grey-green bottom of the image, so the sofa looks like its extension.

In a reading corner or a home library an armchair and a lamp in front of the wall are enough. In a café, seen from several metres away, the wall mural looks like an abstract painting enlarged to the size of a wall.

How do you choose the size and material?

Every order is one large image printed to the size of your wall. You set the width, height, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. At a height of 260 cm the whole image is about 462 cm wide, the gold band on the left is about 185 cm long, and the grey-green expanse on the right takes up the bottom 100 cm or so. On a narrower wall make sure both gold bands stay in the crop: they create the horizon.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile of the materials. The design itself resembles a painting on canvas, so this texture under your fingers completes the impression.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – the structured texture of trowelled plaster, which adds weight to the dark form in the middle and to the grey-green bottom; the choice for a study, where a lamp shines on the wall from the side.
• Mura Vinyl Sabbia – an alternative: a distinct coarse sand grain texture, neither smooth nor satin. On the gold bands the grain is visible up close, which is why it suits a reading corner with an armchair.
• Mura Natur – an alternative made of eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic.

How can you buy with confidence?

This abstract collage wall mural has many dark, saturated fields, so see it at home before you buy. You order a sample from the product page: a print of about 90 × 50 cm, on one or two materials, dispatched within 1–3 working days. In your own light you can judge on it the colour of the gold, the depth of the turquoise and the texture of the material.

On the product page you can also make an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself. If you prefer, ask our team for a studio visualisation – it is ready in 1–2 working days. On request the studio will adapt the composition, colours and crop to your interior, for example place the gold horizon line above the back of the sofa. We usually complete orders in 3–7 working days, using eco-friendly, certified printing. In Poland and Europe we ship free of charge; for other countries the basket will show the shipping cost. We arrange installation throughout Europe on request and price it individually.
