HEADWIND - charcoal mural with windswept pampas grass for the bedroom

A dark wall with the wind passing across it: pale pampas grass plumes lean in different directions, while the charcoal background with its brushstrokes recedes into the distance. The room takes on an evening calm and depth, yet it never loses its sense of movement – the plumes look as if they are about to straighten up at any moment.

What does the design show?

The background is charcoal shading into dark brown, with horizontal and vertical brushstrokes that give it a painterly texture. Cream plumes lie across it in different directions. On the left of the image stands the largest and brightest plume, cut off by the edge, with a slender, narrow plume beside it and another leaning to the right. In the right half, one plume lies almost horizontally, facing left, and by the right-hand edge a tall plume reaches the top edge of the image. Low down, on the left and on the right, thin blades of grass grow denser, while a dark field with a lighter, smoky streak is left at the bottom centre – a place for a headboard or a low chest of drawers.

On a wall 260 cm high, the image is about 4.6 m wide. The largest plume then measures about 135 cm in height, and the horizontal plume about 100 cm in width.

Which interiors does it suit?

Bedroom – the dark background softens the wall behind the bed, while the cream plumes catch the light of a bedside lamp. Choose linen-coloured bedding and low furniture that leaves the plumes in the upper part of the wall uncovered, as in the hanok-inspired bedroom setting.

Library or study – the wide panorama of grasses pairs with dark walnut bookcases and a cognac leather armchair. The charcoal of the background echoes the depth of the wood, while the pale plumes brighten the wall between the shelves.

Hotel lobby or living room in a warm palette – alongside a velvet sofa in mushroom brown, brass and smoked oak, the image becomes a calm backdrop for conversation. In a bright living room with a large window, the dark wall clearly defines the seating area.

How do you choose the size and material?

HEADWIND is one large charcoal wall mural with pampas grass, printed to the size of your wall. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page; for a narrower wall, you decide there whether to keep the large plume on the left or shift the crop towards the horizontal plume.

Charcoal looks different in daylight and under a lamp, so start with a sample. You order it from the product page: it is a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which we dispatch within 1–3 working days. At home you can check the colours and the texture of the material on it, in the morning and in the evening. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. If you would like a lighter background or a different crop, our studio will adapt the composition, colours and crop to your interior. Orders are usually completed within 3–7 working days, shipping within Poland and Europe is free, and on request we arrange installation across Europe, individually quoted.
