SKU:028#Turquoise_Gold

A single honey-coloured vein cuts diagonally across a light, white-and-blue wall and sets the tone for the whole interior. The warm ochre in the middle goes with wood, brass and amber glass, while the cool background leaves a kitchen or dining room plenty of light. The rest of the wall stays calm.

What can you see in the design?

HONEY SEAM is a composition with the look of pale marble in white and pale blue. The main vein is the colour of honey and ochre. It starts at the top, left of centre, beside a narrow, very dark turquoise wedge that is about 50 cm high on a wall 260 cm high. It then descends diagonally through the centre, where it spreads into an amber patch about 55 cm wide, surrounded by a creamy haze. It ends in a white-gold streak at the bottom of the right edge; in all it is about 4.4 m long. A second turquoise pocket lies at the left edge, below mid-height, and in the right part of the image hangs a grey-blue cloud. Thin side veins divide the background into large fields. Up close you can see brushstrokes, as in an oil painting – it is part of the print, not a relief.

Do not confuse it with SAFFRON THREAD: there a similar diagonal is a thin saffron thread on a misty mint background and ends in a knot on the right. In HONEY SEAM the vein is wide and sharp in outline, and the background is cool, blue.

What kind of interior does it suit?

In a kitchen, the place for the design is above the island or worktop: the furniture covers the bottom of the wall, and the amber patch falls roughly at eye level. This is aesthetic advice – cream fronts, a pale stone worktop and aged brass take their colours from the background and the vein, and amber glass lamps repeat the patch in the middle. In a dining room with a long walnut table and chairs upholstered in honey-coloured leather, the wall picks up the same warm tones, only on a cool background. A third suggestion is a bathroom with a white bath: pale blue goes with the white of the ceramics, and the ochre warms the whole. This marble kitchen wall mural suits classic period apartments, glamour style and modern kitchens open to the living room.

How do you choose the size and material?

The whole thing is a single image, printed to the size of your wall. You set the wall dimensions, the material and the position of the vein in the crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. The file has a 16:9 ratio, which at a height of 260 cm gives about 460 cm of width. On a narrower wall, set the crop so that the amber patch falls where cabinets and the extractor hood will not cover it.

Of the four materials we regard two as the main ones. On Mura Vinyl Canvas, the most versatile, with a natural canvas texture, the brushstrokes visible in the design and the weave come together into a picture that looks as if it came straight off an easel. Mura Vinyl Intonaco, structured, with a trowelled plaster texture, adds texture to the pale fields. As an alternative we suggest Mura Vinyl Sabbia with a pronounced coarse sand grain – it is neither smooth nor satin and, seen up close from behind the table in a dining room, it will show its grain on the light background. The fourth material, Mura Natur, is an eco-friendly non-woven: matt, odourless and hypoallergenic.

How can you buy with confidence?

Honey and ochre look different in the warm light of kitchen lamps than in daytime – check it on a sample before you order the wall. You order the sample, a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, from the product page, and we ship it in 1–3 working days. Lean it against the wall above the worktop and compare the colours and the texture of the material with the cabinet fronts and the worktop. You can check for yourself how the diagonal will sit between the cabinets: on the product page there is an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and our team creates a studio visualisation on request, in 1–2 working days. The studio will adapt the composition, colours and crop to your interior if you ask – for example when the vein should avoid a window. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days. We ship free to Poland and the countries of Europe, and further afield at the rate shown in the basket, and if you wish we arrange installation anywhere in Europe (individual quote).

You will find other marble, onyx and turquoise designs from this series in the Turquoise and Gold collection. If you are looking for compositions without a botanical motif or a landscape, look at the Abstraction collection. Have an unusual wall with a window or a sloping ceiling? Book a consultation.
