LACE THICKET - white trees in mist wall mural for the bedroom

Slender white trees weave together here into pale lace, while behind them lies a mist in the colour of sand and pale sky. Instead of a single strong focal point, the wall gets a calm, diffused backdrop that makes the room feel quieter. The longer you look, the more branches emerge from the mist.

What does the design show?

Across the full width of the image grows a dense thicket of slender trees with white trunks and branches as fine as thread. On the left of the image stand trees with soft, billowing crowns, in the centre a cluster of tall, straight trunks gathers, and on the right rises the brightest tree, with a distinct trunk and a wide, spreading crown. The background shifts from pale grey-blue at the top to warm sand in the lower half, and the white and ivory of the branches draw a pale lattice over it. The bottom of the image is covered with white scratches and cracks like old plaster, strongest on the left; near the lower edge the cracks dissolve into mist. Along the upper right edge you can see a fine, vertical weave reminiscent of canvas. On a wall 260 cm high, the image is about 460 cm wide, the tallest trunks in the centre run almost from floor to ceiling, and the cracked band at the bottom is about 90 cm high.

Which interiors does it suit?

In the bedroom, hang this white trees wall mural behind the headboard: the cracked lower band will be partly hidden behind the bed, leaving the mist and branches above it. It works with beige bedding, linen and whitewashed wood in a Scandinavian-style room. In a library or study, the pale background balances the dark spines of books and the cognac leather of an armchair, while the warm light of a lamp brings out the sandy tones in the lower part of the image. In the dining room, the slender trees rise high above the chair backs, so the table and chairs cover only the bottom of the design and the crowns stay visible. Pair it with natural wood, linen and one stronger accent, such as terracotta chairs or a brass lamp – that way a Japandi or wabi-sabi interior will not feel too pale.

How do you choose the size and material?

Each design is one large image printed to the dimensions of your wall. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. On a narrower wall, choose a crop that keeps the centre with the cluster of straight trunks and the bright tree on the right of the image; on a wide wall the whole thicket will fit. The main materials are Mura Vinyl Canvas, with a natural canvas weave – the most versatile, echoing the canvas-like texture visible in the image itself – and Mura Vinyl Intonaco, with a trowelled plaster texture that strengthens the impression of an old, cracked wall in the lower part. As an alternative, consider Mura Vinyl Sabbia, with a pronounced coarse sand grain that emphasises the warm, sandy tones of the background, or Mura Natur – an eco-friendly, matt non-woven on which the mist and fine branches look soft. Behind a bed, seen up close, the texture of the material will be more noticeable than in a dining room viewed from the other end of the room.

Hold it against the wall in your own light and check how the white of the branches, the sand and the grey-blue background come across, and how the texture of the material looks. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and if you prefer, we will prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. On request, the studio will adapt the composition, colour palette and crop, for example by warming the background or adding more blue.
