LINEN MUSE - white horse mural for bedroom and teenager's room

A white horse looks straight out of a light, almost white wall. The room stays as bright as it was, and only a calm gaze and a soft mane appear in the middle. It is a portrait for someone who loves horses and does not want dark colours on the wall.

What does the design show?

LINEN MUSE is the head of a white horse seen from the front, turned slightly to the left. It stands in the middle of the image: both ears are high, the dark eye sits just next to the horizontal centre, and the grey-pink muzzle with dark nostrils reaches three quarters of the height. A pale forelock falls over the forehead, and longer strands of the mane stream to the right. On the right, under the neck, a warm beige shadow remains. The background is almost white, with vertical scuffs in the colour of linen and light beige, denser at both edges and in the lower left corner. The texture resembles paint applied with a palette knife on a canvas with a visible weave. On a wall 260 cm high with a full crop (about 460 cm wide), the head measures about 185 cm from the ears to the muzzle, and the muzzle sits about 55 cm above the floor.

How does it differ from the other white portraits?

There are several pale white horse heads in the collection. Only here does the horse look at you almost head-on, with both ears visible; in CASHMERE MANE it is shown from the side, and in HONEY HUSH and PEARL CURTSY it lowers its head. LINEN MUSE also has the lightest background: more white than beige.

Which interior does it suit?

A teenager's room is the first place for this design: it is delicate but not childish, so it suits a young person's room with a pale oak desk, a low daybed and linen bedding. Arrange the furniture at the sides or choose low pieces: the head is in the middle of the wall and should stay fully visible. In an adult's bedroom move the bed to the side so that the headboard does not reach the muzzle. A third option is a dressing room in white and ivory, where only a low stool stands under the muzzle.

How do you choose the size and material?

The whole design is one image printed to the size of your wall. In the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page you enter the dimensions, choose the material and move the crop. The head lies in the middle of the image, so on a narrower wall you trim the light background equally on the left and right.

To begin with we suggest Mura Vinyl Canvas, the most versatile, with a natural canvas texture: it repeats the weave visible in the background. The textured Mura Vinyl Intonaco has a trowelled plaster texture and, with such a light design, gives the effect of a painting on a wall. The alternatives are Mura Vinyl Sabbia (a distinct coarse sand grain texture; the material is neither smooth nor satin) and Mura Natur, that is an ecological, matt non-woven, odourless and hypoallergenic.

How do you buy with confidence?

With white on white everything depends on the shade, and that is best judged at home. You can order a sample, a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, from the product page; we send it within 1–3 working days. On it you will see the colours and the texture of the material next to your own wall and bedding. You make the AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and on request we prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. At your request the studio can also adapt the composition, colours and crop, for example by moving the horse's head above the desk. We usually complete orders in 3–7 working days, with free shipping within Poland and Europe (to other countries at the rate shown in the basket). We arrange installation across Europe on request, and the quote is individual.

All the designs with horses, from light portraits to galloping herds, are in the Horses collection. For a room with a bed against the wall, also take a look at the section wall murals and wallpapers for the bedroom.
