MARIGOLD - wall mural with autumn ginkgo leaves

Warm, yellow-orange leaves float above dark sea green like autumn light breaking through a dense garden. The image has plenty of movement and depth, and the lightened background in the upper right corner works like a window that warms the whole room. By a wall like this, an evening meal or reading takes on a cosy, autumnal mood.

What can you see in the design?

Yellow-orange and coral ginkgo leaves on thin, russet stalks form an arc: from the middle of the left half of the image across the top edge to the upper right corner. One muted coral leaf lies low, to the left of centre. Dark, turquoise and bottle-green leaves occupy the upper left corner, the left part at mid-height, the middle and the lower right part of the image. On a wall 260 cm high the largest warm leaves are about 100 cm wide, and the dark cluster in the lower right part about 130 cm. The background is sea-green and green on the left and at the bottom, and in the upper right corner it turns into creamy yellow light. Brush marks and rust-coloured flecks of paint are visible, enlivening the dark areas; this painterly texture is reproduced by the flat print, without a raised layer of paint.

Which interiors does it suit?

In a dining room with a terracotta floor, a long walnut table and chairs with woven seats, the design recalls the interiors of Tuscan villas, and amber glass on the table repeats the colour of the leaves. In a hotel lounge with a dark walnut floor and low armchairs in sea green, the image becomes a backdrop for conversation, and its warmth can be seen even from the far end of the room. In a bedroom with a bed in deep sea-green velvet and ochre bedding, the leaves behind the headboard wrap the sleeping area in warm colour. The design also suits north-facing rooms, because it adds the warmth that is missing in cool light.

How do you choose the size and material?

We print MARIGOLD as a single image to the size of your wall, and you set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. At a height of 260 cm the whole image is about 460 cm wide. On a narrower wall, a crop from the left side of the image will be darker and greener, and a crop from the right lighter, with the arc of orange leaves and the cream light.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile material; the fine weave fits in with the brush marks and the rust-coloured flecks of paint.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – the texture of trowelled plaster, a structured material; in a dining room with a stone or terracotta floor it gives the wall the look of an old, warm wall.
• As alternatives: Mura Vinyl Sabbia – a pronounced coarse sand grain, neither smooth nor satin, which in side light enlivens the dark, sea-green areas; Mura Natur – an eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic, on which the coral and orange leaves look soft, without reflections from a lamp.

How can you buy with confidence?

Before you decide, order a sample from the product page: a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which we ship in 1–3 working days. Look at it in the evening, in the light in which you most often sit down at the table, because that is when the orange and sea green show their true contrast. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself; on request we will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. If you prefer more green or less coral, the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop to your interior. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days; shipping within Poland and Europe is free and to other countries is charged at the rate in the basket. On request we also arrange installation across Europe with an individual quote.

You will find more ginkgo leaves in ochre, green and navy in the Amber Ginkgo collection, and other landscapes and plants for your wall in the Nature collection. If you are furnishing a restaurant or hotel and want to match the crop to several walls, book a consultation with our team.
