NOON SHALLOWS - turquoise, gold and cream wall mural for living rooms

A wide turquoise river crosses the wall in a gentle arc, and beneath it cream and peach clouds swirl. The whole thing resembles a shallow lagoon at midday: plenty of light, warm sand, water the colour of turquoise. A living room with such a wall seems brighter and warmer.

What can you see in the design?

NOON SHALLOWS looks like flowing, spilled paint in which the colours have arranged themselves into cells and streaks. The turquoise river flows in from the top left corner, descends to the middle of the wall and rises towards the right edge. On the left you can see round cells in it, like foam on water; in the middle the turquoise is deepest and forms long streaks. The lower bank of the river is marked by irregular gold patches, densest just below the middle of the wall and on the right side, slightly above half height. In the bottom left corner and on the right below the river, cream and in places peach clouds swirl, and the bottom on the right turns into a calm grey-blue. The top in the middle is filled with a light, milky haze.

If your wall is 260 cm high, the image is about 462 cm wide and the river at the lowest point of the arc is about 80 cm wide. The largest cluster of gold patches measures about 35 cm. Here, gold is a warm, sandy printed colour, close to the peach clouds.

What kind of interior does it suit?

A turquoise and gold wall mural with cream suits a living room in a natural, light palette: whitewashed walls, linen, rattan, olive wood or oak. The warm clouds in the lower part of the design blend with the beige of the sofa and rug, so the turquoise does not stand apart from the rest of the room. Keep the furniture low, because the lower bank of the river with the gold patches falls in the middle of the wall, about 90 cm above the floor.

In a bedroom the arc spans the full width of the wall above a low bed and replaces a decorative headboard. The third suggestion is a restaurant, especially a fish or Mediterranean one, with light terrazzo and tables with marble tops. Guests see the wall from several metres away and take in the whole arc at once, while at a table right beneath it they notice the cells and the gold patches.

How do you choose the size and material?

The design is a single image printed to the size of your wall, so the arc does not repeat anywhere. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. The arc develops fully on a wall with proportions close to those of the file, that is about 4.6 m wide at a height of 260 cm. On a narrower wall choose a crop with the left part, where the river descends, or with the right one, where it rises.

Mura Vinyl Canvas and Mura Vinyl Intonaco are the two materials to start with. Canvas, with the texture of natural canvas, is the most versatile, and on it the flowing streaks resemble a painting on a stretcher frame. Intonaco has the texture of trowelled plaster and a pronounced structure: it gives the cream clouds the look of a wall finished in plaster. If you prefer a stronger surface pattern, choose Mura Vinyl Sabbia, with a distinct coarse sand grain texture that is neither smooth nor satin and suits the beach theme of the design. Mura Natur is an eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic; choose it when you want a matt wall in a bedroom.

How can you buy with confidence?

Turquoise, cream with peach and gold may look different on a screen than in your room, so order a sample first. It is a print of about 90 × 50 cm, on one or two materials, available from the product page; we dispatch it within 1–3 working days. You can set it against your sofa and floor and judge the colours and the texture of the material.

The product page also offers an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, which you make yourself. On request you will receive a studio visualisation, prepared by our team, in 1–2 working days. If the arc falls too low in your room, ask the studio to adapt the composition, colours and crop. We usually complete the order itself in 3–7 working days and ship free of charge within Poland and Europe; outside Europe the basket will show the shipping cost. On request we arrange installation throughout Europe, and you will receive an individual quote. Our print is eco-friendly and certified.

We have gathered other compositions with turquoise, white and gold in the Turquoise and Gold collection. You will find more large images to hang above a sofa among the Living Room wall murals.
