PARCHMENT ZEPHYR - cream ginkgo wall mural for a dining room

Cream ginkgo leaves float above the sage ground like sheets of paper caught by a warm wind, and beneath them white, translucent bands flow like silk. Sandy beige warms the green, so a dining room or living room gets a light, gentle centre to the wall without any chill.

What can you see in the design?

The ground is sage green with a printed canvas weave and vertical distressed streaks; at the top on the right and low on the left it turns into patches of sandy beige. The middle of the image is filled with the largest leaves, laid over one another like open fans. In the upper left a single leaf drifts, more occupy the top right corner, one lies low to the left of centre, and another in the lower right part.

Each leaf is drawn with hundreds of thin cream lines, outlined in light brown. From the bottom edge through the middle towards the right edge flow white, translucent bands, and thinner cream streaks ripple in the left part of the ground. On a wall 260 cm high the image is about 4.6 m wide; the group of leaves in the middle takes up about 2.6 m, and the single leaf in the upper left is about 120 cm wide.

Which interiors does it suit?

Dining room. Cream and beige go with a chestnut or oak table, linen-upholstered chairs and a terracotta floor, as in the dining room setting in an 18th-century palazzo in Lucca. Place the table in the middle of the room – the chair backs will then reach only the lower part of the design, below the leaves.

Hotel room and bedroom. The light, warm palette suits sand and ivory bedding, a travertine side table and an armchair in sage velvet. The bands beneath the leaves lead the eye along the headboard.

Living room. In a room with a linen sofa, rattan and amber glass, the beige patches of the ground pick up the colours of the accessories, and the large leaves stay above the back of the sofa.

How do you choose the size and material?

PARCHMENT ZEPHYR is one large image that we print to the size of your wall. In the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page you enter the size, choose the material and move the crop; on a narrow wall make sure the central group of leaves stays in the crop, because it carries the composition.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile; it echoes the printed weave of the ground, so the design looks like a painting on canvas.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – the structured texture of trowelled plaster; in the beige patches it recalls the warm, plastered wall of an old house.
• Mura Vinyl Sabbia – an alternative: a pronounced coarse sand grain, neither smooth nor satin; it emphasises the sandy beige in a large dining room viewed from a few metres away.
• Mura Natur – an alternative: eco-friendly non-woven, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic; on the matt surface the light brown outlines of the leaves stay distinct.

How can you buy with confidence?

Start with a sample ordered from the product page – a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which we ship in 1–3 working days. With the sample you can check at home how the cream and sandy beige go with the wood of your table and what the texture of the chosen material looks like. You can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and when you need more certainty, we will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. On request, the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop to the interior, for example by deepening the green of the ground. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days, you do not pay for shipping within Poland and Europe, and on request we arrange installation across Europe, with an individual quote.

You can see green and beige variations on ginkgo drawn in line in the Sage Silk collection, and more botanical motifs in the Nature collection. You can choose the crop for a specific dining room during a consultation with our studio.
