REVERENCE - bending pampas grass wall mural for hotels and living rooms

A row of pampas grass plumes leans to one side as if taking a bow, giving the wall a calm, even rhythm. The warm grey of the background and the cream plumes quieten the room, yet the movement of the grasses keeps the interior from feeling static. A composition like this makes it easier to slow down – in a hotel lobby, a living room or a study.

What does the design show?

Seven evenly spaced plumes run across the full width of the image. Five of them lean clearly to the left, as if the wind were blowing from the right; two near the right-hand edge of the image stand almost upright and close the composition. The tallest plumes reach just below the top edge in the centre and on the right of the image. Each plume is cream at the edges and beige-taupe in the middle, which gives it a soft, legible outline rather than a flat patch of colour.

The lower third is filled with dense, curving blades in olive taupe. The background is greige with a fine, linen-like texture, brightened by a haze at roughly half its height. On a wall 260 cm high, the image is about 464 cm wide, the tallest plumes are about 125 cm long, successive plumes fall about 65 cm apart, and the band of blades reaches about 85 cm up from the floor.

Which interiors does it suit?

Hotel. In a lobby or a hotel corridor, a wide wall lets you show the whole row of plumes, and guests see it from several metres away, a distance from which the rhythm of the bowing plumes can be taken in as a whole. Cream and sandy tones combine with marble, travertine, rattan and linen – as in the room setting of a boutique hotel lobby in Cartagena.

Living room. A low sofa and a low sideboard leave the plumes uncovered; the furniture hides only the lower blades, which form the background anyway. Caramel leather, rosewood and warm wood bring warmth to the greige. Sixties modernism, Japandi and calm boho all work well here.

Study. Behind a desk, this wind-bent pampas grass wall mural provides a quiet backdrop without strong contrasts. Side light from a window brings out the texture of the chosen material, while the pale tones of the plumes stay calm; whitewashed pine, light ash and brass look good alongside it.

How do you choose the size and material?

REVERENCE is a single image printed to the size of your wall. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. On a narrower wall, choose a crop with the tallest, central plume, so that the bowing plumes lead the eye from the right to the left of the image.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – a natural canvas weave, the most versatile material; it echoes the linen-like background of the design and emphasises its painterly character.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – a trowelled plaster texture, a structured material; the greige takes on the look of a plastered wall, which is especially visible up close, for example in a study.
• Mura Vinyl Sabbia – a pronounced coarse sand grain texture, neither smooth nor satin; an alternative for large walls viewed from several metres away, as in a hotel lobby.
• Mura Natur – an eco-friendly, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic non-woven; an alternative if you prefer a calm, matt finish in the living room.

How can you buy with confidence?

Before you order the whole wall, order a sample: a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, dispatched within 1–3 working days. Hold it against the wall in your own light and check how the greige and cream tones look next to your furniture and what texture the chosen material has. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. If you would like to change the composition, colour scheme or crop to suit your interior, our studio will adapt the design. Orders are usually completed within 3–7 working days, shipping within Poland and Europe is free, and on request we arrange installation anywhere in Europe, priced individually.
