ROSE GOSSAMER - blush pink wall mural with ginkgo leaves

Blush pink and a grey-green ground make a pair of colours that warms and calms at the same time. The ginkgo leaves look here as if woven from thin yarn, and across the whole wall pink veils of lines drift, light as tulle. The room gets a soft backdrop in two colours, without being sugary and without strong contrast.

What can you see in the design?

The ground is grey-green, darker in the middle part and shading into sea green, with fine vertical stripes visible in the print. The leaves are drawn with a dense mesh of thin lines in blush pink. Left of centre rises a cluster of several overlapping leaves with wavy edges – on a wall 260 cm high it is about 170 cm tall. At the top in the middle and on the right of the image three more leaves spread out, and the one in the top right corner is about 100 cm high.

The stalks of all the leaves converge towards the bottom, in the middle of the image. Across the whole surface, diagonally and horizontally, run semi-transparent veils of pink lines, like airy fabric. Thanks to them the design is two-coloured, light and uniform from the left to the right edge, and the whole image is about 4.6 m wide at this wall height.

Which interiors does it suit?

Dressing room. On a wall without wardrobes, behind a low walnut chest of drawers and a round pink pouffe, the design creates a backdrop reminiscent of fabric. Blush pink looks good beside brass, terrazzo and glass in a shade of smoky pink.

Hotel room or suite. A long wall behind a low sofa in muted pink, with a sage rug and a marble table, takes on a calm, elegant character, as in the setting of a Vienna hotel from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Bedroom. The grey-green ground goes with linen bedding in sage and pink, and the pink of the lines warms the room in cool northern light. A headboard about 90 cm high hides only the band of stalks beneath the leaves.

How do you choose the size and material?

ROSE GOSSAMER is one large image printed to the size of your wall, and you set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. Because the veils of lines run across the whole width, on a narrower wall the composition still looks continuous – in the crop keep at least the cluster of leaves on the left of the image or the three fans on the right.

• Mura Vinyl Canvas – the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile; the weave of the canvas echoes the mesh of thin, pink lines.
• Mura Vinyl Intonaco – the structured texture of trowelled plaster; in the smooth areas of the grey-green ground it gives the impression of a plastered wall, visible in side light.
• Mura Vinyl Sabbia – an alternative: a pronounced coarse sand grain, neither smooth nor satin; it suits a large hotel wall viewed from a few metres away.
• Mura Natur – an alternative: eco-friendly, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic non-woven; the matt finish keeps the lightness of the veils when viewed close up, in a dressing room and bedroom.

How can you buy with confidence?

Blush pink looks different in daylight and under a lamp, so first order a sample from the product page – a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, shipped in 1–3 working days. Hold it against the wall beside fabrics and furniture and check the shade of pink and the texture of the material. You can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. On request the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop to the interior, for example by deepening the pink or brightening the ground. Orders are usually completed in 3–7 working days, shipping within Poland and Europe is free, and on request we arrange installation across Europe, after an individual quote.

You will find other ginkgo leaves drawn in a thin line on sage grounds in the Sage Silk collection, and more gentle designs for resting in among the bedroom wall murals. A consultation with our studio will help you choose the shade for a dressing room.
