ROSEHIP - pink ginkgo leaf wall mural for a bedroom

Powder pink, burnt orange and two white, openwork leaves that look like tulle create a wall that is warm but light, a little like dried plants in a herbarium. The pale, sage-cream background shows through between the leaves, so despite the large scale the design does not make the bedroom feel closed in.

What can you see in the design?

Large, overlapping ginkgo leaves fill almost the entire surface of the pale, sage-cream background, across which thin, tangled threads in rust and coral run. In the left part of the middle and at the top, two leaves drawn in white, openwork lines shine, resembling tulle or lace; together they take up about 165 cm in height on a wall 260 cm high. Around them and lower down spread leaves in powder pink, and by the left edge, cut off by it, a leaf in salmon rust. The right half is taken up by large fans in burnt, rusty orange reaching the top and right edges. Beneath them, low on the right, lies a pink-lilac leaf, and plum and rust stems converge at the bottom, in the middle of the image.

Which interiors does it suit?

In a bedroom ROSEHIP looks best behind a low bed without a tall headboard: the white leaves then stay above the pillows, and bedding in a muted pink and a velvet cushion in rust repeat the colours of the image. It goes with a bleached oak floor and a travertine bedside table. In a dining room with an oval table of pale oak and chairs with woven seats, the design warms the wall at shared meals, and pink glass on the table picks up the powdery leaves. In a bathroom with warm grey microcement and a freestanding bath, ROSEHIP provides a soft, warm backdrop, and towels in pink and a walnut stool complete the set. If the room is small, choose a crop with the white leaves, because the pale part visually brightens it.

How do you choose the size and material?

We print ROSEHIP as a single image to the size of your wall; in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page you set the size, material and crop. At a height of 260 cm the full image is about 460 cm wide. On a narrower wall you can move the crop to the left, onto the white and pink leaves, or to the right if you prefer a stronger, rusty orange.

Hold it up next to your bedding and curtains and check the colours and the texture of the material in daylight and by lamplight. On request, the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop, for example by reducing the share of orange.
