SAFFRON THREAD - pale onyx wall mural with a saffron vein for bathrooms

Milky white with a touch of mint, and a single warm, saffron thread running diagonally down the wall. The design looks like a slice of pale onyx held up to the light: the outlines are soft and the colour spreads like mist. In a room it gives the impression of warm, diffused light.

What can you see in the design?

SAFFRON THREAD has a white and pale mint background, resembling milky, translucent onyx. The only distinct vein, saffron-gold, descends from the top left corner diagonally through the centre of the wall and ends in a golden knot below the centre, on the right of the image. In the upper half it is surrounded by a warm orange haze. On a wall 260 cm high the vein is about 3.3 m long from the corner to the knot, and the knot itself is about 55 cm wide. Thin gold threads spread from the knot: upwards, to the right edge and straight down. A deep turquoise patch, about 90 cm wide, lies in the bottom left corner; smaller turquoise accents can be found just beside the centre of the wall, next to the vein, and in the bottom right corner. The outlines are blurred, as if under a layer of glaze.

The twin HONEY SEAM has its diagonal running the same way, but its vein is a wide, honey-and-ochre band, sharply drawn on a cool blue. Here everything is softer: a thread instead of a band, mint instead of blue, and the weight of the turquoise lies low on the left.

What kind of interior does it suit?

The soft pattern and warm vein suit places where you rest. In our room setting it is a reading room in a Viennese apartment: a caramel-coloured leather club armchair stands beneath the vein, and a lamp with an amber shade repeats its saffron. In a bathroom – this is aesthetic advice – milky white goes with pale stone and a white bath, and the turquoise in the lower corners of the wall suggests water; a bath placed on the left will cover part of the patch, so plan the crop before you order. In a bedroom, ivory-coloured bedding and a single saffron throw are enough for the room to pick up the colours of the wall. How do you choose the size and material?

This is a single image printed to the size of your wall, from edge to edge. You choose the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. The full 16:9 file at a height of 260 cm is about 460 cm wide. If the wall is narrower, decide what matters more: the left part with the start of the vein and the turquoise patch in the corner, or the right part with the golden knot and the bundle of threads.
