SEAFOAM EDDY - wall mural with swirling ginkgo leaves for a bathroom

Ginkgo leaves circle across a pale mint ground, and through the lower part of the wall flows a wide wave of cream lines, like a ribbon stirred by the wind. It is a light, fresh design that brightens the room and gives it movement without taking space from the furniture.

What can you see in the design?

The ground is a shade of pale mint turning into sea green, with vertical strokes and traces of peach that look like distressed paint – this is a printed effect. Several large leaves are drawn with hundreds of cream lines. On the left of the image a leaf with a twisted edge covers a darker, sea-green leaf, at the top in the middle there is a leaf cut off by the top edge, in the top right corner a leaf with curled edges, and to the right of centre a large fan on a long stalk opens out.

The lower half is crossed by a wave of dense cream lines that starts in the lower left corner and rises towards the right edge. By the lower left edge appear darker lines in sea green, and thin peach threads run through the middle. On a wall 260 cm high the open leaf on the right is about 135 cm high, and the whole image about 4.6 m wide.

Which interiors does it suit?

Bathroom with a freestanding bath. The mint ground and cream lines go with pale limestone, white stone and teak. When the bath stands in front of the wall, its low rim hides only the lower wave, and the swirling leaves stay uncovered at the eye level of a person sitting in the bath.

Bedroom. The pale design above a low bed with mint and ivory bedding gives a calm, holiday mood. It suits white terrazzo, rattan and light curtains at the window.

Living room. In a room with a pale floor and an oat-coloured linen sofa the design brings movement without strong contrast. You can repeat the peach threads in a single cushion, a piece of ceramics or a blanket.

How do you choose the size and material?

We print SEAFOAM EDDY as one large image to the size of your wall. You set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. On a shorter wall keep in the crop the lower right fragment, where the wave rises towards the edge – without it the design loses its movement.

If you want the wave to run the other way, or the ground to be lighter, the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop of the design to the interior.
