SILK LASSO - jade green ginkgo wall mural with ribbons

A bouquet of cream-mint leaves gathers on the left of the wall, and from beneath it wide ribbons of thin lines slide out, curling into loops like a thrown lasso. The jade green of the ground is deep and even, so the movement of the ribbons can be seen clearly even from the far end of the room.

What can you see in the design?

The ground is a shade of jade with a fine vertical texture and a few distressed ochre patches by the bottom edge. The leaves occupy the left and middle part of the image: one stands by the left edge, another is cut off by the top edge, the largest form a group in the middle, and lower down, in the centre, lies a translucent leaf drawn in outline alone. The full leaves look as if laid on in a thick layer of paint – that impression comes from the print, not from a raised surface.

From beneath the leaves come ribbons of hundreds of thin cream lines. In the lower part of the middle they curl into large loops and then run towards the right edge. The right-hand third of the image is mainly the calm, jade ground. On a wall 260 cm high the image is about 4.6 m wide, the largest leaf in the middle about 160 cm wide, and the loops of the ribbons occupy a band about 120 cm high.

Which interiors does it suit?

Study. Jade looks good with a dark herringbone parquet, rosewood and cognac leather, as in the setting of a Paris Art Deco study, where a low desk stands beneath the loops of the ribbons. A desk against the wall hides only the plain lower part of the ground.

Bedroom. Behind a low walnut bed with cream and jade bedding the leaves stay above the headboard, and the ribbons flow towards the bedside table. Brass and glass warm the cool green.

Dressing room. On the wall opposite the entrance all you need is a round pouffe in jade velvet and a wooden stool; leave the hangers on the side walls, and the leaves and loops of the ribbons will remain uncovered.

How do you choose the size and material?

SILK LASSO is made as a single image printed to the size of your wall. In the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page you set the size, material and crop; on a narrower wall you can trim part of the calm ground on the right and keep the leaves together with the loops of the ribbons.

Hold it against the wall and see how the deep green of the ground changes in daylight and under a desk lamp, and what texture the material has. You can create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room yourself on the product page, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation in 1–2 working days. On request the studio will adjust the composition, colours and crop to the interior – for example, it can move the loops closer to the middle.
