Chalk-white ginkgo leaves stand out against the sea blue like impressions in fresh plaster, and beside them rise light beige fans drawn with a fine line. Two ways of drawing in one image give the wall rhythm and depth, and the tall stems visually pull it upwards.

What can you see in the design?

In the left half, sand-beige, translucent leaves drawn with fine vein lines predominate. In the middle and by the right edge stand chalk-white, opaque leaves with a soft texture that looks pressed into the surface; in the right part they gather into a tall clump of five leaves. At the very top, almost at the upper edge to the right of centre, stands a white leaf drawn as an outline only, and a beige one beside it. All of them grow from tall, thin, pale stems.

The background moves from a pale grey-blue at the top into a deep, sea-blue band behind the leaves, and the bottom is a light turquoise with cream peeling paint – printed, like the whole image. On a wall 260 cm high, a single fan is about 35–40 cm tall and about 60 cm wide, the clump of white leaves on the right is about 135 cm tall, and the stems of the tallest leaves are about 2 m long. The peeling band at the bottom takes up about 60 cm.

Which interiors does it suit?

In a hotel or guest room, the design looks good behind a low bed with white bedding, a pale blue throw and a pair of oak bedside tables; the white of the leaves repeats the colour of the fabrics. In a modernist-style bedroom, combine it with a pale oak bed, travertine and a sheepskin – the clump of white leaves by the right edge neatly closes the wall next to the window. In an office, for example in a client area, the image calms a meeting room: a light grey wool sofa, a round oak table and a cognac leather chair are enough. It suits modern classic and minimalist styles, and in a sunny room the sea-blue band introduces a cooler note.

How do you choose the size and material?

We print it as one image to the size of your wall. In the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page, enter the dimensions and move the crop. If the wall is about 2.5 m wide, at a height of 260 cm you will fit a little over half of the image: the right side, with the clump of white leaves and the outlined leaf at the top, or the left, with the delicate beige fans.

Mura Vinyl Intonaco, a structured material with the texture of trowelled plaster, will emphasise the chalky, pressed-in texture of the white leaves. The second main material is Mura Vinyl Canvas: the texture of natural canvas, the most versatile, on which the line of the beige leaves looks like a drawing on canvas. An alternative is Mura Vinyl Sabbia, with a pronounced coarse sand grain – neither smooth nor satin – or Mura Natur, an eco-friendly, matt, odourless and hypoallergenic non-woven, on which the white of the leaves looks calm, without any additional structure.
