ZEPHYR TRAIL - blue marble wall mural with a gold vein for a study

A light, cool wall with a single warm line running diagonally across it. Misty blue calms the room, and the gold vein gives it direction: the eye follows it from the upper left of the wall downwards, towards the right edge. The design is airy and low in contrast, which makes it a natural backdrop for work and rest.

What can you see in ZEPHYR TRAIL?

The image resembles light blue marble seen up close: soft layers of blue and milky white, crossed by thin lines. The main gold-coloured vein starts at the left edge, in the upper part of the wall, where it is widest and splashes out into pale streaks. It then descends diagonally, crosses the centre and reaches the right edge below mid-height. Below it, in an arc, runs a thinner gold thread.

The darkest patch, in a shade of sea turquoise, sits at the top, left of centre, right next to the densest gold. A second, fainter shadow of turquoise appears low down, right of centre. The upper right part brightens to milky white, while the bottom left corner remains calm and pale blue. The vein is not metallic: it is the colour of the print, warm and sandy.

What kind of interior does it suit?

Study. The calm background and a single clear direction do not distract while you work. The warm wood of a desk, such as cherry or honey oak, and a brass lamp repeat the colour of the vein. Bedroom. On the wall behind a bed with a low headboard in powder blue or natural linen, the vein remains visible: in the middle of the wall it runs at roughly half height. A light living room in a Scandinavian spirit: a light grey sofa and glass do not drown out the vein. In a room with a north-facing window the blue will look cooler and greyer, in southern sun – warmer, closer to turquoise.

How do you choose the size and material?

ZEPHYR TRAIL is a single large image printed to the size of your wall; you set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page. The file has a 16:9 ratio, so on a wall 260 cm high the whole image is about 4.6 m wide. The vein then starts about 60 cm below the ceiling and ends about 85 cm above the floor, and the darkest patch is about 90 cm wide. On a narrower wall, keep the upper left part in the frame, because that is where most of the gold is.

The main materials are Mura Vinyl Canvas and Mura Vinyl Intonaco. Canvas has the texture of natural canvas and is the most versatile: its weave softens the misty transitions of the blue. Intonaco has a trowelled plaster texture and is structured, so the large pale fields on the right stop being flat. The alternatives are Mura Vinyl Sabbia, with a pronounced coarse sand grain that is neither smooth nor satin and suits a wall viewed from a few steps away, and Mura Natur: an eco-friendly, matt non-woven, odourless and hypoallergenic, whose matt finish suits the misty character of the design.

Blue depends heavily on the light, so start with a sample: a print of about 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which you order from the product page and we ship in 1–3 working days. Hold it against the wall in the morning and in the evening to judge the colours and the texture of the material in your own lighting. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation yourself on a photo of your own room, for example your study, and we will prepare a studio visualisation on request in 1–2 working days. If the vein should run lower or the blue should be warmer, the studio will adapt the composition, colours and crop on request.
