Museum or home?
Both. Art wall murals bring artworks from the gallery to the walls where you live. Greeks at breakfast. Street art in the living room. Babylon in the bedroom. Art doesn't hang – it accompanies you.
Great masters on your walls
The DECOMURA collection of artistic wallpapers and wall murals inspired by art is an invitation to a world where your interior becomes an extension of a gallery. These are not just reproductions of famous works – they are also interpretations of artistic heritage, carried into the context of contemporary interiors with respect for the original vision of their creators.
We enlarge selected motifs to very high resolutions and fine-tune their colour, so that every detail – from a single brushstroke to the subtlest colour transition – keeps the character of the original at a monumental, wall-sized scale.
Artistic inspirations through the ages
Our designs draw on different eras and traditions:
Classic masterpieces
- Antiquity: Greece, Rome, Babylon
- Renaissance compositions with harmony and perspective
- Baroque chiaroscuro and Romantic, atmospheric landscapes
- Neoclassical, academic compositions
World and street art
- Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints and Chinese ink painting
- The decorative ornamentation and rich detail of Eastern art
- Street art and urban murals
Art for different interiors
Different styles harmonize with different spaces: classic works with elegant, traditional interiors; geometry and street art with minimalism and lofts; delicate, poetic scenes with places of rest. An artistic wall mural can complement an existing style or serve as the starting point for the whole interior design – it creates a striking focal point and gives the interior depth.
Personalization, materials and installation
We fit every artistic wall mural to your wall: we adjust the scale and the crop, and we can tone down the colours to match your existing interior. The materials – Mura Vinyl and Mura Natur (their matte, painterly character suits works of art well) – are washable; full water resistance comes from a resin finish. We also offer installation (individual quote).

Questions and answers
How does an artistic wall mural differ from a regular one?
A regular one is usually a photo or a repeating pattern; an artistic one is built on painterly composition, colour and mood – it's meant to be a picture on the wall, not just a background.
Is it a reproduction, an interpretation, or an original design?
In this collection you'll find interpretations and reproductions of the old masters (antiquity, Renaissance, neoclassicism) as well as contemporary street-art compositions. We describe the character of each design on the product page.
What art styles do you have?
Antiquity (Greece, Rome, Babylon), Renaissance and neoclassical inspirations, and street art drawn from urban murals – each in a variety of interpretations.
Does art suit a modern interior?
Contrast works in favour of both sides: an antique statue next to minimalist furniture, a mural in an elegant loft. The tension between eras creates character.
Which material should you choose?
For art, we recommend Mura Natur – a matte, painterly finish with the feel of canvas. We'll send you free samples of two chosen materials.
Is the surface washable?
Yes, both materials are washable; full water resistance comes from a resin finish.

Art in different rooms
If you'd like to narrow your choice of art down to a specific mood, natural paths lead through landscape wall murals, geometric wall murals and sea-themed wall murals. Calmer interiors are also well served by the forest wall murals and floral wall murals collections, while animal wall murals and tropical and jungle wall murals bring a bolder, more decorative character.
