Collection: Silver Reeds

Dense plumes of reeds and ornamental grasses in cool greys, silvery tones and olive green fill the wall, while a distressed background reminiscent of plaster, linen or crumpled paper shows through beneath them. Silver Reeds brings together 23 calm, monochrome reed wall mural designs for adults who want a botanical wall without colour and without a single focal motif. Here, “Silver” refers to the colour, not the metal.

How do you choose a design from this collection?

• Start with the light. In a room with a small window, a light background will give the wall a sense of airiness: take a look at SALT MARSH, the lightest in the collection, with its cream plumes, or REED FRIEZE with dark plumes on pale grey. If you have plenty of light and want an evening mood, choose light grasses on a darker background in HOARFROST, CHALK GRASSES or SAGE NOCTURNE.
• Match the density to your furniture. CANEBRAKE and HOARFROST fill the entire surface, so they look best behind a simple, low bed or sofa. Sparse layouts such as INTERVAL or CHARCOAL RUSHES leave plenty of open background and keep the wall calm in a more richly furnished room.
• Choose a rhythm. For a long wall in a hallway, dining room or office, an even row of plumes from REED FRIEZE or PALISADE works well. The plumes leaning in different directions in CROSSWIND and FREEHAND bring in movement, like grasses in the wind.
• Match the material to the texture of the background. There are two main options: Mura Vinyl Canvas with a natural canvas weave, the most versatile, and Mura Vinyl Intonaco with a trowelled plaster texture that will bring out the plaster-like background of many designs. As alternatives, you have Mura Vinyl Sabbia with a pronounced coarse sand grain and Mura Natur, a matt, eco-friendly non-woven material.
• Set the crop. Each design is one large image printed to the size of your wall. You can set the size, material and crop in the “Calculate price and order” configurator on the product page.

How can you check a design before ordering?

Grey looks different in the morning and in the evening, so order a sample of your chosen design: a print of approximately 90 × 50 cm on one or two materials, which we dispatch within 1–3 working days. Hold it up to the wall and see the colours and texture in your own light. On the product page you can also create an AI visualisation on a photo of your own room, and on request we will prepare a studio visualisation within 1–2 working days. If you would like to change the composition, colours or crop, our studio will adapt the design to your interior. Orders are usually completed within 3–7 working days, and shipping within Poland and Europe is free.

You will find more botanical motifs in the Nature collection, understated, calm walls in the Minimalist collection, and ideas for the wall behind the bed in the Bedroom collection.
